Applaud in effect!
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.

First, the models look like a really cool proxy for the EDD's.  Second - nice paint!

Now, I gotta say this, just cause the engineer in me is screaming; those feet could never - ever - be anything more than a constant headache for Dr. Diana.

"Echo Delta Delta Three Two reporting malfunction.  Left support tarsal has ceased operation.  Possible cause: gravity greater than zero gee.  Request immediate repair.  Over."

"Roger Three Two.  Standby.  Over. ::snicker::"

"Roger, wilco.  Out."

::Whir, whir::

"There ya go, threetwo.  Back at 'em."

"Thank you Doctor."

"Echo Delta Delta Three Two reporting malfunction.  Right support tarsal has ceased operation.  Possible cause: gravity greater than zero gee.  Request immediate repair.  Over."

::sigh::

If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

++END TRANSMISSION++…"Gentlemen, this is the last transmission concerning the Ekar 4 engagement of the E.D.D. Second mechanized platoon, the support tarsals become problematic in prolonged engagement – What are the possible solutions?”

“We understand Sir and presented a solution to DCD (Damage Control Department), they have an alloy which has already been approved for the E.D.D. units, it is a light weight alien alloy, however it has the strength 100 times our current strongest metals, unlike anything seen before! – The field test were beyond our wildest dreams”

“What would be the cost to implement this change?”

“Sir, we estimate that by replacing only the necessary parts with the new metal, we will actually make a profit. Not only will the units be back on active duty in less than 28 days, because the new metal can take greater pressure it will increase the performance of the units in combat thus equaling greater profits”

“Hmmmm less time on the field, more victories equal more profits – Make it so!” turns and begins to walk away, he pauses “Oh and Smith, if this works out I will see to it that you are put in for a bonus!”

I am, truly, amazed that those feet support the model.  Have you had any instant of breakage during play?

I mean, they look cool, and all, but, they look damned fragile (pronounced, "frajilay"), too!

We have several of these model and they are very sturdy, the model is made of a fantastic sturdy plastic!

We have several of the EDD "Egg" models and they have broke quite often and at the feet, I never thought about it until now that you have brought it up.

The models we have as proxies are sturdier, I guess I never gave it a thought because it has never been an issue.

I have to retranslate, but think of the guy whose "father" was Keith Richards:

Frad*sch*i....
Fridisch.....
Fro*ndjol....
Fra*dal*o...

Frajilay?

That´s it! - FRAJILAY!

Damn! Who thought of this "frajillay"-thing?

That´s the French......

;D
