Void Gate

Can a model with Void gate abilitiy not step thru but hold gate open so that other squads may travel thru the gate say till the end of that turn?

If the Caster of the Void gate is in base to base contact with the gate, he may spend an action to hold it open.  That is all he may do though.

if he breaks contact or otherwise does something that isn't holding the gate open, it closes.
