Wait while fire burst?

Enemy is shooting with HMG.
I have a model in wait.
Can I try and come out of wait to shoot him between the two rolls for his HMG?

no.

You can't interupt actions that involve die rolls.  As he has already declared (and is in the middle of) an Attack, you must wait until he finishes all dice rolls for that action.
