Worst Chronopia game in my life
« on: April 30, 2016, 01:28:41 AM »
Well, this is kind a bitter joke of destiny. My friend forgot his army list and we went to a coffee shop with WiFi to get a rulebook, after this we deployed the armies and ... cell phone SD card failure in turn one.

As the Chroniclers have written, the Chronomancer  got caught in the edge of a temporal storm that set backs the game to the point of nothing ever happened after deploying his troop to face the various proxy Devouts on the veteran and scarred gaming board.

At least you have some nice scenery.  I like that dense cope of woods.

In that one the top is removable and you can move the troops into.

It was a complete fail, the Devouts army profiles were in a pdf inside my friend's cellphone and that file got corrupt or something like that. We still donīt know all profiles by heart and we didn't play beyond turn one.

Sad story  :)

How many Army Points you were playing with?

I'm curious about it. Me and my friends usually fight at 1000 each if there are three of us in the game, or 1500 if it's one vs one.
Sometimes we played 2000 too. Fast plays at 750 each. We tryed 500 each but it's too small, you risk some strongly unbalanced situation.
We could try something like 5-6000 each, but it would be too long and require too much time. And, of course, I like the idea that you should have the chance of setting two completely different lists even if playing with the same army, depending on the scenario or the army you have to face.

Your armies seem small in size (a fast play). Something like 700 A.P. Right?

We "played" first edition using armies worth 750 points.
