Dwarves are the soul of politeness - not only do they let me kill them but they provide chicken on the hoof to BBQ over their corpses   ;D

Hy. We (the Chronopia Italian Club) tested these beasts on our last meeting this weekend in a 2k deadly match between Dwarves and Sons of Kronos. I used the SoK army. My opponent used these chickens to run and spot my unit cards and they worked greatly. But we quarreled about a rule. He placed a single Keeper (already tied to three Vulture totems) and then five warbands of two terror birds, claiming it was needed a single keeper on the battlefield to field them. This way, ha raised the number of activations very high putting me in serious troubles. I objected that, according to the description of the unit, a Keeper is required for EVERY warband of terror birds, such as a Hunter for the wardogs of the untamed, so his army composition wasn't legit at all.

Who was right? This detail changes everything.
Thanks, the CIC (Chronopia Italian Club)

- You must have a Keeper to purchase the Vulture Blood Totem.

Only 1 Unit Blood Totem for one Keeper.

Sorry Coki, the question was not about the totem. We already stated in other threads of this forum how the Keeper/Totems system works. Here's a fast resume:
- If you field a single Keeper it HAS to be of the main clan. If you field more than one Keeper one has to be of the main clan, the others what you like according with the 40% limit of the other clans
- A single Keeper can have more than one totem related to him BUT they all have to be of the same clan, and if you want to field a different totem you have to purchase another Keeper of the proper clan, according with the 40% limit of your army.
So my opponent was right in fielding 3 Vulture totems with a single Keeper, but my question was about the terror birds!!!
Do they require a Keeper for EVERY flock, or a single Keeper on the battlefield is sufficient to have as many flocks as you want?

Thanks a lot.

Thank you so much Josh. Can this keeper already be assigned to a totem, or it has to be specifically dedicated to the flock?
