So Far This Year - 2013
« on: March 13, 2013, 05:47:02 PM »
So, with the recent bout of unemployment, I was able to actually get into the paint room and get some figures finished.   Per usual, I wanted to get the figs to a good tabletop standard, and will maybe go back and paint in additional details at some hypothetical point in the future.

Finished in February...Trenchers!

Thanks Petrus!   My painting style has changed over the past 20 years, and I am trying some new things.   Different choices in colors, and also trying to speed up the process by focusing on getting a good quality table-top paint job, but with some brighter colors that I have used in the past.

They really look great.
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.

The do look good. Well done. What brand of paints do you use mostly?

I like the muted tones used in the colour scheme. I've always liked the trenchers but I think they are hard to paint like the artwork.

Look forward to seeing more.

Jase, I use Vallejo, Citadel, Polly S and the green ink was by Adiken.   The trench coat was actually a Polly S green color, and then the Adiken green ink really brightened it up.  The base coat I used, and is stull visible on the helmets, and some of the armor is Krylon spray primer.   I used it as the base to all my Impie figures to give them that one unifying color for the entire army.
