Berserk
« on: January 21, 2013, 04:41:01 AM »
The description in the rulebook isn’t (at least for me) 100% clear.
It is mentioned the Berserk test needs to be done after its first kill. Does it mean:
- first kill in the game never again; or
- first kill per encounter which is sometime difficult to separate in the case the squad attacks members of several units; or
- first kill and every kill afterwards (could be very often); or
- first kill per round; or
- first kill in the game and first kill after the last berserk; or
- any other solution?

For reverence the original text:
When a model makes its first kill, it must make a LD test to determine if it has become incensed and gone Berserk. If the model passes its LD test it is unaffected by the bloodbath and remains in control of its faculties. As the model has no control, so lacks the player-the die roll alone determines whether or not the model is consumed by rage.

Simply replace, "its first," with, "a;" i.e.: "When a model makes a kill..."
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!
