Question about Fire Mission distance
« on: July 07, 2012, 01:59:13 AM »
Where did the rule of 16" for range come from?

This isn't anything I think is wrong, just curious of where this measurement came from. It's a distance I do not see anywhere else in the rules and the only mathematical similarity is MR range 36" /2 which is 18". I had expected it to follow the ordinary distance rules (0-6-12-24-36-47+) if I had designed that rule so it perked my interest in knowing what concluded this range. :)

That is a question which I believe may only be answered by Prime, himself.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!
