Cybertronic TA-65000 parts needed
« on: September 21, 2010, 07:05:20 PM »
Hey everyone,

I picked up a TA-65000 at Recruits, but it's missing one wheel and the gun.  I also didn't notice either of the side guns on the front skirt, but that's a simple Green Stuff fix.  Anyone with parts?  I don't really collect Cybertronic, but I have a few pieces that this will fit nicely with.

Thanks!

I don't have a TA-6500, but I have some suggestions if no one has parts for you.

Go to your favorite online auction site and search for these bits:
1) Space Marine bike tires (get 2 so the wheels match). I don't remember if
there are fenders molded on the TA's body so those might need redone.
2) Imperial Guard Heavy Weapon Team heavy weapon (either Autocannon or
Lascannon depending on which you prefer the looks of). Then greenstuff the
    turret parts.

I'm not sure where you're located in the world so I don't want to recommend a seller.

Hal,

I give you applause for helping out a fellow fourm member, and an awesome idea.   Do you plan on using halftrack style tracks on the TA 6500 Flamer conversion?

Main reason I haven't started it yet is that I am trying to come up with a way to make one vehicle with switchable turrets, otherwise I will end up with 3 TA-6500's and that's a few too many.......even for me  ;)

PM Sent and a hearty THANK YOU thrown in as well!  I was amazed as to how small this particular vehicle is.  I haven't looked it up, but how many men is it supposed to hold?  One?  two?  Certainly no more than that!!!

TK,

I once put an FT-17 Turret on the TA-6500 just to see what it looked like.   The turret matches the figure pretty well.   If you can find an inexpensive FT-17 model kit, the turrett would probably be a good place to start with a conversion.

A BA-20 model would work as well, if you're going for the 'really tall' turret.  Only caveat to that one is that its turret weapon was a machine gun.

Heya Petru -

ASAP (As Soon As Possible) turned into WICFR (When I Could Freakin Remember) but the parts are sealed in an envelope and I will drop them at the Post Office on the way to work. They should go out to morrow and you should have them within a week.

If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!
