Chaos Gatehouse
« on: April 09, 2010, 01:00:07 PM »
It took a while to finish it.  But, it's finally done.  It was going to be an entire fortress.  But, it became too massive.  So, I just build the gatehouse.  I may build extra walls later.  Take a look.  Let me know what you think.

Nice work!!  I'm glad you put a model in front of it to really show how massive it is.  What did you construct it out of?

I used cardboard for the walls and tower and the towers are made of cardboard tubes.  I cut the ramparts out of wood.  I used various thickness of card for the details.  The green growth was made from expanding foam.

Looks great, must be hard to find a place to store it though it is Huge.

That looks great! I can see many battles being fought for control of the gatehouse. Sweet!

Where do you live?  I'd like to come over and get a game of Chronopia in, or any game for that matter.

It is huge.  But, usually keep it for a bit then sell it off to make space for more stuff.  I know...it's a curse.

I live in St. Louis.  But, unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time to game.  There are two local convention that I usually try and attend.  But, due to a "life change".  I have not been able to make them.  One of then years.  I would like to go to Gen Con or Origins again.

Not that far from KC, then.  We just had our local convention, Recruits.  The next one will be in September.  It's pretty cheap ($5 for the entire weekend).  You should come over and play!

That is a nice piece; obviously a lot of time and effort went into it.
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!
