The future of gaming...
« on: February 11, 2010, 09:14:54 AM »
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

That is pretty cool.
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.
What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching? OPEN FIRE!

Sweet!  Take that WoW!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

Thats pretty cool. As someone else stated I dreamed of that as a kid. Mind you it was a day-dream so long ago I imagined them all as computer generated holograms.
Can't wait to see where they go with this, good to hear they are in talks with Wizards.

That is really cool.

Wedge's gaming group has made a setup for projecting maps that he posted some time ago.

Ok, they can't control the monsters via the PC but still quite cool.

That is very exciting.  If the board is programmable and resolves combat...amazing I say!  I do however miss the 3 dimensional elements of our traditional game (though you can't beat the set up time and storage issues).

The models would still be used, and if the table can be prgrammed to represent terrain, then you should, still, be able to use terrain by simply programming in the coordinates so that intervening cover could then be simply accounted.
