Mounted troops
« on: January 28, 2006, 12:57:10 PM »
As usual I did a search first on the forum (but found nothing) so I'll ask:
How is CC with mounted troops done?
E.g. if a venusian marshal attacks in CC an enemy, do I get 2 "to hit" rolls, one for the Marshal and one for the horse? What about if someone attacks him in CC?

You get an attack for the Mount in addition to any attacks the Rider may have.

There is no simultanious CC anymore so when they are attacked in CC they just sit there and take it.  There is no Dismounting either.  They are one model for all intents and purposes.

In the models profile it will say the conditions that the Mount can attack in.   Some mounts (the Hinko dragon comes to mind) can only attack on a charge.  Others, the Veloci-horse that the 'haus uses, can attack each turn.
