Pietia's 15mm Warzone
« on: November 02, 2009, 12:18:18 AM »
Some time ago I’ve decided to recreate Warzone forces in 15mm. I have ideas for Capitol, Bauhaus, Cybertronic, Brotherhood and Dark Legion troops – how to convert existing models, which ones etc. Some of my efforts so far

There are some pretty heavy shadow on these photos – unfortunately, early morning is the only time of the day when I can make some photos with natural light

Algeroth Acolytes – Human Cultists from 15mm.co.uk. Not the best 15mm minis I’ve ever had a chance to paint  :(

Capitol Marine Infantry (new unit from a fan Warzone update currently being made) – specialists and officer. Based on Battlefront's US Boat Landing Company with added shoulderpads

Capitol Marine Infantry – SMG troopers and medics

Capitol Marine Infantry – regular troopers

Capitol Airborne Rangers – WIP, based on Battlefront’s US Paratrooper minis (again, green stuff shoulderpads for the unique Warzone look and feel)

Alakhai’s Blood Fists – elite Centurion/Necromutant melee unit – originally Ground Zero Games’ Alien Mercenaries. Work in Progress

Saladin’s Scorpions – elite Necromutant assault unit – originally Ground Zero Games’ Alien Mercenaries. Work in Progress. Regular Necromutants will use the same models

I'll be posting updates on this project here: http://urbanzone.ehost.pl/blog-en/, as well as on this forum (if there will be some interest of course ;) )

I always wanted to try Warzone in a smaller scale. I suggest using same rules but 1 inch = 1 cm.

Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.
What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching? OPEN FIRE!
The entire Capitol Army.
Don't ever say anything but a 20 before rolling the dice.

I like these warzone in this scale would be fun the rules might need to be tweaked in order to have much larger forces without slowing it down to much, anyone remember the Chronopia Empires 6mm that had real promise the large machines looked great
I came, I saw, I ran away

The idea in this case is to play with forces of the usual size, but in smaller scale - so it will be possible to e.g. play in a pub.

Some new minis - this time Cybertronic Machinators and Chemogens

HMG Machinators – to be used, if the Machinators are fielded as MkIIs. Rebel Miniatures Scourge Heavy Weapons minis

LMG Machinators – to be used, if the Machinators are fielded as MkIs. Rebel Miniatures Scourge minis

Machinators – converted form Scourge minis – I swapped their guns for Xyston’s Celtic Swords. Converted 10 of them (I’ll have to order a few more packs, as only one of three poses in the pack is useful for this conversion)
