WARZONE INTER-PLAYER CAMPAIGN
« on: September 18, 2009, 02:06:18 PM »
Had an idea for the forum - What if we did an ongoing campaign - only each battle was fought by another 2 players in the forum.  I would act as virtual GM - Two players would start - then submit the results - kills, casualties, victory points.  Using my campaign system - those who survive would gain experience using a system I've developed (several of you have copies of it).

Then two more players would play another scenario based on the results of the last - etc.  It would be strictly voluntary and for fun!  But would end up creating a full "story."

Anyone interested???

If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Ok - D, since you chimed in first - do you have another player whose near you to play the first battle with and--

What armies would you guys like to use?

Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.
What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching? OPEN FIRE!
The entire Capitol Army.

I have a veritable plethora of victi...challengers in my area:

jjdodger (Cybertronic, Capitol)
Kaile_Bloodhammer (Algeroth)
joshuaslater (Brotherhood)
wmeredith (Imperial - Wolf pack)
luckyone (THE Entire Capitol Army)
Archer (Cartel, Capitol, Cybertronic)
Masherking (Imperial)
Jibbajabbawocky (Illian)
Iron Panda (Bauhaus)
Dragon62 (Yes)
and the Big Kahuna, himself. (Algeroth) - Say it with me, guys..."Billly, Billy, Billy..."

I, myself, enjoy playing Bauhaus and Illian, though I could field Algeroth, Cult, Hordes; I have been wanting to get my Templars painted and try them, so this may be a good oppurtunity.

This is sounding like a lot of fun!

Might I ask a small favor (I'll ask it, and you decide whether to answer/smite - ;D)?  Would it be possible to make the games objective-driven?

"Billy, billy, billy .."

ARrrrghhH!!!!!

*sounds of gunfire and breaking Glass*

That Damn Herectic!!  He is the ONLY character model in the game I have never brought down in a game. Ever.

Vahl Dredd?  Punk.
Valpurgis?  Sniper-bait.
Karak?  Has a glass jaw and hates Free Marines
Any Corporate Hero?  Taken down and put on trial for Allegeance to the Darkness. ;)

But Billy?

He's like Makari the gretchin from the early days of 40k...  another character that thumbs his nose at the odds and survives  (back when he was takeable in an ork list, he survived my attempts to kill him in about twenty+ games.  Gah!)

Yeah yeah...  However, Imperial never faced you and Bauhaus has seen the table maybe three times in eight years.

That's your definition of, "like to use?"
