Welcome to the Jungle!

The jungle is quite...                             ...Too quite...                                                ...Somewhere in the thick undergrowth waits the death...

The alliance of Mishima and Capitol was in the beginning successful to assault the hidden and secret raptor breeding laboratory of the Bauhaus Corporation.
But Bauhaus was able to react fast and send a task force into the region. The Cartel pushed Imperial to support the defense against the not permitted attack of the Bauhaus facility.
The situation is tricky and a wild and desperate fight rises about each single building of the base.
The overall situation is especially extreme because of the raptors which are accidently got free and they are now hunting the troops of both sides of the conflict.

Planet: Venus
•   Environment: Jungle Level 6
o   Reduced Visibility 9“
o   Combat Fatigue -3
o   Reduced Movement -1
•   The lake is just a normal part of the jungle. It is possible to enter and to move normally threw this part of the field.

Task:
•   The goal is to capture and to hold the buildings in the center of the table
•   Winner is the team with the most victory points at the end of round 6

Army:
•   Every player gets 1000 points to build an army.

Deployment:
•   The deployment zones are along the short sides of the table
•   Units with infiltrate or Rec. Tr. Are not allowed to be placed directly into a target building. The raptors will be placed in the total beginning directly as miniatures and are counting as enemies for infiltrating units.

Special rules:
•   The Raptors:
The raptors have the following rules:
o   There will be two groups of four raptors on the field and two groups of two. They will be deployed on the spots R1, R2, and R3. The two small groups will be deployed on the same spot. All will be deployed as leaderless squats.
o   For each group the player has to find out who will control them. Who ever has the control over a group of raptors has to follow the following rules:
-   The first dice roll will decide over the Raptors of spot R1. Is the result 1 to 6 the C/M-team get the control. With a 7 to 12 the group will be under control of the B/I-team. If the roll is a 13 to 18 on this Spot are the two small groups. Each team has then the control over one small group. If the result is a 19 or 20 the roll needs to be repeated.
-   A second roll will be done for the spot  R2. The both choices which are left will be attached to the numbers 1 to 10 and 11 to 20. The last set up of Raptors will be placed on the spot which is left. At the end each team controls a 4 Raptor group and a 2 Raptor group.
o   The raptors have never to check against the environment and they suffer only the standard environment influences.
o   The raptors do not have any influence during the determination of the victory points.
o   The raptors do have the following specs:

Venusian Raptor
CC   RC   PW   LD   AC   WD   ST   MV   AR   SZ
11   -   5   10   3   3   8   5   21   3
Special Abilities: Natural Attack (10), Predator Senses 6, Dire Rating 2
Special Rules: Natural attack is a bite. May automatically break away from CC. The Raptors are immune to issues of moral. Commando distance of 10”.

o   Controlling a raptor and their initiative:
-   The initiative of the raptors is always at 22. No initiative roll will be done for the raptors.
-   The raptor groups will be played by the order R1 to R3. R3 will be seperated Team A and team B.
-   The raptors never attack each other.
-   The raptors are fixed under control of one team and will be played by one player of the team. After each round he gives the control to his other team member.
-   The player can freely move the raptors etc. until the raptor gets visual contact to any model. Then the raptor has to move in the direction of the model to attack him even if the model is from his own team or corporation. The only exceptions are units with the SA Impenetrability who can be ignored by the raptors. Is the raptor in CC he will never leave until the victim is dead.
•   Buildings and Environment
These rules apply also for the bridge and the airfield, because they are free of vegetation.
o   The reduced visibility does not apply in the buildings. This means only the distances outside of buildings counts for the reduced visibility. As an example: If somebody stands 6” before a building and he is able to look threw it then he can see an enemy who is 3” away from the backside of the building.
o   Inside of the building are no limitations for the movement. This means the reduced movement does not apply inside the buildings.
o   The environment level the units have to roll against is inside the buildings reduced to 4. But if the test failed the consequents are the same like outside of the buildings.
o   The combat fatigue -3 applies inside the buildings like outside.

Victory points:
The following conditions are not stackable. Only one of the conditions applies for one building per round.
•   One immediately victory point if one team enters as the first a targeted building.
•   Two victory points per round and building if the team is able to hold it for a whole round without an enemy inside.
•   Three immediately victory points if a team is able to get a building under control which was occupied by the other team. It doesn’t matter if the other team left the building by them self or if the enemy got killed. These points are only possible once per building in the game.
•   At the end of the sixth round the game ends

"They can't do that-they're just lizards!"

Nice idea.  You can then use the raptors for Mishima Cave Dragons as well.

I'd rather use the Stygian I have been collecting for that purpose -- please can I?  :'(
