Support units and commanders
« on: July 12, 2009, 06:43:25 AM »
Another issue that came up when playing today. =P

Does support units that have several models count as squads for the purpose of being activated by commanders? Specifically would a division commander be able to activate a unit of orcas or would they not count as squads since they are support?

The Give order Action only refers to units or squads.

Since one of the two is met by any model on the table (mayba drop pods arenīt considered that....)

But if you meet the requirements of LD / LOS / Distance etc. you can give orders to them to activate them.

Correct, Lopis.  The Special Ability applies to any units (squads are considered units).  Therefore, a Unit of Orcas may be commanded.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!
