T Prime:
THE TAINTED (4-8)

CC   RC   PW   LD   AC   WD   ST   MV   AR   DEF   SZ   CT

11   8     0    10    2      2     4     3    15     0      2    36

SPECIAL ABILITIES & RULES:

* Cause Fear

* Revolting Presence:  Mortal, Draconic & Beast Models must make a LD test to charge a model with this ability.  Failure means the action was wasted. Subsequent attempts may be made.  Models with a LD of 13 or more are immune as are any models they directly command. No further checks are made by models in CC.

* Cannot Run.

* Extreme Putrification:  When a Tainted is slain, place the model on its side.  At the end of the turn in which it was slain when the activation counters are removed, place a boulder template where the fallen model was.  It should be centered on its base.  This represents the models extreme putrification and the toxic remains it left behind.  Mortal, Draconic or Beast Models attempting to cross the tainted putresence must make an LD save or take a wound.  If this kills them, replace the slain model at the beginning of the next activation with a new Tainted under the control of the Devout.

EQUIPMENT:

The Tainted attack with an Vile Blade (DAM= ST +5, Unlife Energies).

CLASSIFICATION:
Undead

PROXY:
To field these warbands, we recommend using the Blight models produced by Heresy.  They may be found here:   http://www.heresyminiatures.com/hv043.htm

EQUIPMENT:

The Tainted Disgorger attacks by disgorging a blast of Black Vomit.

(ROF- 1/2 (1x per activation), Range- 6", Small Explosion Template- DAM=11 (Place Template and roll RC attack.  If you miss, the difference between what was needed and what was rolled is subtracted from the base damage to a minimum damage of 4)

If in CC, the Disgorger will not vomit but instead attack with a Savaging Maul (1x) Dam= 8. This is a natural attack.

I love them and they may be what finally motivates me to do a Devout Army but I have to ask -- These come about as a bad reaction to some Death Fries?  ;)

Von Koss:
Thanks T Prime!  I'm definately getting in on some of this action.

New troop warbands...new opportunities...new models to paint... :o...*faints*

joshuaslater:
They are fantastic sculpts and the Devout will find them fun to play.  Playing against them, I'd say shoot'em at range, or get a Dwarven Firethrower!!!

luckyone:
