Hey all,
check out this company
http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/
Specifically check out their "secrets of the third riech" and "incursion" lines
Lots of stuff that could be used for MC:WZ proxies.

I've been eyeing some of the heads they offer for a long time.  I might just have to break down and buy some stuff one of these days!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

Looks to be great for conversions/proxies. Nice stuff!
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.

I've actually used some of the "British Gas-Mask" heads for some conversions. They fit very well on GW Cadians and Wargames Factory "Zulu War British". I've made some Imperial Militia using the WF British, the Westwind heads, and some loose Warzone weapons.

Ask and ye shall recieve;

(From L to R; Cadian Vox-man, 2x WF Zulu War British with WW British Gas-Mask heads, 1 Imperial Regular Sergeant)
Please disregard the wonky-looking arm, as it stems from a slight mis-cut when clipping the arm. Bear in mind, these are prototypes.

I don't have any pics with the converted weapons, but I've found that the Hasslefree Plasma Rifles fit nicely as well. It works best if you snip the current stock off the weapon, and instead, using the stock that is attached to the firing arm. It tends to help lengthen the weapon so the scale seems to fit.

Next on my list of things to do;

-Modify Imperial Regular AR for use on WF figures
-Locate suitable backpacks (I may use the Victrix Peninsula Campaign British backpacks)
-create suitable HMG

I've just ordered some of the Pig Iron Kolony Command heads for use in converting Sergeants and Officers. I've got about 200 of the WF British, which I intend to convert all to "Imperial Light Militia".
