Barnes & Noble 75% Off on Clearance Games

Hey all,

If you have a Barnes and Noble nearby, they are closing out selected games at 75% off.  Most of the games are DVD, Monopoly and other silliness. 

However, there are couple of gems...Acquire, Diplomacy and Halo: The Interactive Game.   Age of Empires II and Age of Mythology might alse still be available. 

Halo has some terrain that might be usable for terrain, and at about $10 on sale, might just be a good deal for those on a quest for cheap terrain.

I picked up three of the Halo games from my local Wally World for $7 each.  The squares match MC:SotC squares and I'd guess Blood Berets and FotC as well.  The game is best played using HeroScape rules.  Otherwise, it's drivel.

I was afraid that was the case.  So many games that take their inspiration from movies or vid games end up being krap. 

Good to know the squares match, as I was reading in another forum here that someone was thinking about making a 3D SoTC map.   The Halo blocks might do the trick.
