Slow moving object
« on: January 20, 2009, 01:13:35 PM »
Here are some pictures of the Devout Funeral Barge.Similar to the one in the book with a little difference. The Crystals at the front help the Necromancer channel the Dusk Realm energies through the Mystic Pool. The Soul from the Beast is also bound into the Crystals for a better tie to the Dusk Realms.Still a bit more to do to it.

Some other Devout troops waiting to be finished in the pictures too for scale.

Ooooh, I like it, what is the skeleton and why is he trying to have sex with the Necromancer?

The Skeleton is a Todd McFarlane Spawn toy from years ago. They still turn up on Ebay though.

The skeleton is not trying to have sex with the Necromancer it is the other way around   :o.

Looks more like it is giving birth instead of having sex with the Necromancer  :o

I would have liked to go for the one in the book.It is just too big.I think I could have left the legs off the skeleton and had it more buried in the ground.Might try that next time.

The base is perspex from a place I used to work at that did perspex signs. The land mass is styrafoam. The two are conected by some aluminium bent into shape.I was unsure what to use to hid the metal but came up with silicone put on in wave effect.

Not sure I will be able to make Talamania this time.I was involved in a crash which has sent my car for repairs. The insurance has told me it will not be cost effective to have it repaired because of it's age. They have given me a few options but it looks like I will be out of pocket any way I go.

To say I am unhappy is an understatment  :'(.
