Bauhaus Duke Heiss List, is it a good idea?
« on: December 15, 2008, 10:35:33 AM »
Hell all, new comer here, long time player but haven't touched Warzone in about 6 years. My buddy and I are getting minis again and wanting to play. Here's a list I came up with trying to remember what I used to run at 1k. My buddy is going Imperial and will more then likely have a walker or 3

2x Units of Jungle Kommandos

6 Kommandos

2 TRS Specialists

1 Sarge

Flak Vests, Enhanced Weapons (214 points each)

Jungle Kommando Kapt/ Flak and EW (45 points)

Rangers

8x HMGs

1 Sarge

Reinforced Armor all, (289 points)

Vulkan Battlesuits

2x Vulkans

1 Sarge

1 Missle (172 points)

Vulkan Kaptian (63 points)

997 points total

I haven't played in so long, any and all help would be great. ^.^

Well.... for starters, needs to be in the right forum.

This is a 2e List.... and in its environment (Jungle and City), devastating.

For 3e, I would do the following....

3 Units Ducal Militia: All with Sarge, 5 Riflemen and a heavy weapon (2x hmg and 1 RL)
2 Units JK's with TRS
JK Kaptain
Support- Vulkans.  4 of them.

If any points left, I would get the Militia re-breathers to help with Environmental.

Way to use this list....

RL Militia and Vulkans are for working over anything in LOS.  The HMg squads and the JK's are for flanking- either as a pincer or a  power (ie: all on one side) push.  Alot of what you can and cannot do will be dictated by terrain.  If your opponent is fielding a Hurricane, then the Vulkcans and the RL Militia will want to pop shot at that quickly- at least a third of your fire being directed at that unless there is a juicier/more dangerous target.

Hello

The long of a short story, Target went under Excelsior Entertainment took the mess and made a better set of rules for the game. The UWZ or Ultimate Warzone. Paradax the current incarnation of all that is evil took the license for the game away from EE and the game is now in limbo. We try to keep it alive here on the forums, you can find copies of third edition rules on ebay, or somewhere there is a pdf form. Welcome to the forum, hope to see you at the next con our own Talamania named after Thom Talamini the mind behind third edition.

His profile shows his local time to be two hours earlier than mine which makes him a West Coaster. Of course the local time clock could be wrong and I am setting myself up for an egg on face moment.
