Hy everybody.
I'm an Italian player and a very great collector of Chronopia minis. I got all the eight armies (mostly original units, but some proxy) and I play with a small group of friends. We played for years with the first edition, and we recently decided to use the 2.0 because of the re-balance it brought between the armies. The army I'm using at the moment is the sons of kronos.
I got some things to clarify about the allies of the firstborn or the devout if using the tribes of the dawn and the shadow one.
-In the main book is told that, if I play with the tribe of the goddess, I can use the units of the tribe of the dawn too. It's not mentioned the shadow tribe, so I suppose it's not possible, as instead was in the first edition, to play a monarch with the viridian lords, or the blade maidens with the unliving... Is it correct? That's a shame.
Anyway, this forces me to use the allies to set some worthy composition. I decided to use the unholy champion. The bonus he gives are used by the undeads, and unlivings are classified as such, but... in the description of the standard of the hatred I read somewhere in this forum, it's specified that the standard is reserved to the devouts only. This means I cannot use it even if allied? I need to know because it would be very amazing to move the unlivings with a normal MV rate!
And, by the way, I've not understood how does the wounds of the standard work.
Another matter is the tribe of dawn. I can use only naqada runes spells. All the naqada spells are for sons of kronos only. This means that I cannot buffer the firstborn heroes I'd like to play with. This is clear and I agree with the idea. But I'd like to know if , on the contrary, the effects of the special abilities of the firstborn heroes will affect the sons of kronos. I mean the paladin +2 to RC and CC, and the judge immunisation from panick and rally rule.
Last question: Savage roots can affect the giant skeleton too? We discussed it because it's told that giant skeleton fluctuates on the ground. Is it out of reach? I think the same question should be done for the giant wirm of the stygians.
Thanks a lot and forgive mi lenghtness and my bad grammar.
