I'm just getting my Brotherhood started too, after what seems like a long time without painting much.  All I've been able to muster are character figs for roleplaying, but now I'm in army painting mode.  With the rain stopping I hope to prime an army tonight!!
May the Dark Lords of Lead-Free Pewter smile kindly upon you.

My new Capitol squad.  I was feeling nostalgic and painted them over the past 3 days.  I saw some Bauhaus here in chocolate chip and urban so I decided to try a Jungle chip pattern.  They need a few tweeks but I call em done.

Looking great! How did you do the guns? Got to love some old schoold painted Capital.

The guns were cake.  First, I always prime black.  I usually then drybrush white but I tried grey instead.  Once this is done I go to base colors.  The guns are the same drybrushed grey over black with their magazines and bayonets the same grey as the drybrush.  I don't like the metallic look on futuristic models.

Very nice!  I think the jungle cc went well!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

Results are great! Nice idea to color the base the 180 arc of fire correct?

Thanks.  Yep you are correct, I tend to do that with all my models and now I prefer the lipped bases. The lipped bases allow me to paint stuff on the back.

Thanks Veez and Warzone D.

I guess I can use my old SOB models for Martian Banshees.

I made a question a while ago on one of my unknown warzone capitol figures and now got around to paint him.

This is him, how he looked when I dug him out. :D

And this is afterward I went crazy on him with my brushes, I even painted a copy of the scorpion, put on a Punisher Short Sword that I had free and I'm very pleased with my now new D.S Grenadier, formerly known as Capitol Hero. :D

Much improved paint job.  Some people tend to overpaint stuff and add too much colors.  Contrary to some company's belief guns are not red they are generally black.

I like what you did with the DS color and mod.   A better looking figure, by far.

I was pondering to cut a bit in him, removing armor parts along the legs and arms, but figured I could leave it. Hells, if I used AP-Grenades, I'd like to wear heavier armor as well if I for some reason had to drop one close to myself ;)

I would suggest washing the model in brown ink this will help unify the colors.
