Buying manuals in pdf?
« on: December 21, 2005, 02:50:46 PM »
Hi, I'm interested in buying the UWZ manual in pdf, as I always travel around with my laptop.
I wouldn't mind some kind of DRM (digital rights management) solution to stop ppl from sharing it illegally (although I guess it would be quite easy for someone who wanted to do so to simply scan it from the printed version).

I was wondering if EE is planning on releasing such a version any time soon and what would the price be, compared to the printed version?

Thanks, Christian

As of rightt now we are not going to be doing this. this has come up a few times recentlry. but both time and a way to properly manage it has been little to none.

Might i recommend army builder. Given that all the stats are pretty much set there. I know I have it on my laptop and just carry a round a gutted copy of the book with the essentials.

Well, i have always wanted to have a copy on pdf to carry with me at all times (as I always have a laptop on me  :D).
So, as I couldn't buy it on pdf... i bought the hard copy and scanned it
As it's not for sale any more and I've received no objections on this forum to uploading it online... and as there's a lot of other stuff online already, like at mutantpedia.com...

... here it is, at www.chribu.com
I just hope to allow more people to play this wonderful game ;)
