Before and after... repainting
« on: March 23, 2008, 04:05:24 PM »
I picked up a figure on the cheap.  It didn't have the best paint job, so I attempted to "fix" it.  It was a blast to see the figure emerge from what it was.

That's awesome-like "This Old House" only in pewter!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

Heya DTZ, glad to see you here. Nice paint job - have some karma.

Of course the hardest part is being able to match the fig to the buyer so that the yin of the fig matches the yang of the painter thus producing the harmony of a well painted fig. The guy who sold that fig to you must be a phenomenal person of great insight. In fact I would venture to say that the only thing greater than his special ability to match painters and figs is his humbleness.  ;)

Thanks for the responses.  This was a fun figure to paint.  One that just held my attention to get it all done in one go.  Rare for me to work like that.

Topkick,

I'm more of a lurker here as I like the figures but not interested in playing the game.  I'll most likely be posting only here.

Thanks for the karma :)
