BTW, over on Forum of Doom, Kev White mentioned the possiblity of doing a commemorative sculpt of Gary.

That would be true reverence.  If he needs a donation of money for his time, I can get behind that.  I can think of fewer better ways to physically immortalize the man.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

I'm over on the Forum of Doom quite a bit, as are many of you.  I'll make a point of linking any news of this here, if someone doesn't beat me to it.
May the Dark Lords of Lead-Free Pewter smile kindly upon you.

That's an awesome idea.  It'd be great seeing him as a wizened wizard conjuring....

Forum of Doom? Enlighten me with a link please.

The Forum of Doom is a forum operated by 4 small UK miniature companies who have loosely banded together to promote their wares.  Hasslefree Miniatures is owned and operated by Kev and Sally White.  Kev's name on the forum is Hasslefriesian and this LINK will take you to the topic about the commemoration figure.  Kev's post is the fourth one down on the first page.

What can you really say, or atleast put into words, to thank a man who allowed a little boy to activily become the hero, who slays the dragon, and rescues the beautiful damsel, that we all dreamed to being?

Being Irish, several fellows and I will be cracking open a bottle of Jameson,  a few D&D books, and celebrating a life that gave us so much.

May heaven be full of 20's.
