The minis that Necromutant is questioning were marketed by Excelsior as the Cursed Legionnaires. They were show-cased at the last Gencon that EE actually appeared at (I believe it was 2004). The mini's that Alpha have pictured are currently billed as the Blessed Legionnaired of Demnogonis.

Actually, these are what I have as Blessed Legionnaires:

Similar - but definitely different minis. These are, btw, rather disgusting and one of my all time favorite paint jobs. :)

I guess they were a re-sculp (would have been my guess-that's what I wanted to use them for originally).  I guess now they can just be filler for either.

Hmm. You are correct. Sim but surely different. Yes the second pic is Blessed Legionnaires. I misspoke in haste and bad eye sight. My apologies.

Ah - no problem at all....it's all good. They are definitely similar and in all honesty, the last Undead Legionnaires would probably be better used as another model. The first and second gen Undead Legionnaires are pretty good sculpts and fine for the role.

Still.....it's nice to field a horde of the guys and play "Dawn of the Dead" scenarios....I never get tired of that.

I couldn't agree more. Back when I was "actively pursuing" new players as a Crusader, I would always set-up that scenario in the flgs around Halloween. It's fun in general but even more so that time of year.  ;D

Totally agree with the list, but don't forget:

Gomorrian Emasculator
Old style Capitol Sea Lions
Old style Capitol Troopers (football helmet guys)
Old style Imperial Blood Berets (Prince August have the troops for sale now though, but none of the sgt/captain except the shotgun cptn.)
Cybertronic People's Volunteers
Enhanced Chasseurs/Atilla

the list is def. longer.

I love the Urban War - Syntha figures though, they fit the cybertronic bill quite well.

That's what I use.  Probably because Ikore ripped them off from/was made up of ex members of Target.

really, all minis are hard to get..

if you want to start from scratch you will be hard pressed with any army.

from grunts to some special models/monsters all is a catch if you can game..

thatīs why i love warzone (and because 1 is already enough)
