HEY JIBBAjabbawocky
« on: December 06, 2005, 05:53:44 AM »
hey steve (jibbajabbawocky)

I was thinking about our next battle:

Captiol find's out that cartel agents have ferryed off something of great value off mars. The one man they can think of that has the answer to what was taken is Agent Nick Micheals. Captiol is informed that Nick (under other alias) is leaving mars by a  Bahaus space luxury liner.

Mission:
Captiol force are to board the Bahaus luxury liner, The Steiner Star, and capture Agent Nick Micheals.

Cartel forces are to avoid capture at all cost.

result: if captiol wins nick is capture and I'm denied the use of him for all following battles untill  I do a "RESCUE"  scenario .

This your chance to get back at O' Nick from our last fight. ;)

This would be fought on kind'a space hulk board.

What you think?

I'm thinking the only ability that wont make sense to use is para-deploy.
what you think?
Also how many points you wanna play.
...this is kool it allows us to make a army list tailored for the  scenario .

Anubis your more then welcome (along with anyone else) to come and play at maplewood.

I know john(store owner) and I at one point was tossing around an idea on having a Warzone/Chronopia day. If enough people start playing or willing to make the  trip for a one day mini con at the store he might do this. Plus if it Ever happens and EE wants to swing by, it make his day. ;)

hmmm... a thousand points seems excessive for this, how bout 500-750?  We should also have Civilians running around, blocking LOS. (unless you want to shoot them anyway...)

You'll have to be Steve too, otherwise it'll get confusing. :)

here's an idea steve.
If you want to use civilians we can use the rules for zombie movement from ZOMBIES!!!
At the end of your turn roll a d6, move that many people 5".
Wait cannot be used during civilians movement (to avoid any rules confusion)
one action to shoot or HtH civilians. It auto-hits and all civilians have 1 wound no AR save.
Civilians never attack (hence they never charge) they just cower in fear.
hiding behide a Civilian gives a -1 to hit. Spending an action to charge a Civilian (and choseing not kill it) makes it a meat shield giving a -2 to hit. If attack misses the Civilian is dead and no longer provides any cover.

modifers do not stack. Hiding behind 2 Civilians will not give you -2 cover.
but hiding behind a soft cover (-2) or hard(-3) and a Civilian (-1) will stack
****Deadshot denies "the Meatshield" rule******

are they any special abilites that you think might affect this or the  scenario??
what do you think?
