Don't worry, Capitol has the highly experimental, Rack Mounted Shoulder Fired Beef Jerky  Recoiless Rifle, the "Beef Bazooka" and after extensive testing by Big "Snap Into a SLimJIM" Bob Watts, the newer model will feature advanced fire control and targetting systems as well as your choice of regular, plain and EXTRA SPICEY munitions.

Stage one:

Remove grenade drum, front iron sights, and barrels from Invader AR.  This is a ratehr easy operation.  An Exacto, snips or Dremel will do the job.

Why do the Imperial weapons just sound like they want to hurt something?  Invader, Assailant, Destroyer,  Jimmy Dean Pork-Sausage Repeater, Agressor, Mandible?  At least they have a good Marketing department.

it's a very British thing...

HMS Dauntless, HMS Invincible, HMS Suicidal Insanity...

Stage two:

Clean up the lines and such where front iron sites were removed.  Add detail to under barrel where grenade drum was removed.  Drill small hole for barrel placement.

Stage three:

As a conversion goes, this could be considered done.  I want to make the scope look a bit more like the Assailant's scope from the book.

Phil, let me know what you think.

looks great to me, dude!  The additions to the scope are sweet, and really bring it together. :)

I'm assuming that the weapon has the full length silenced barrel as represented by the thickness of the barrel and the markings on the nail?

It's not the size of the barrel but... oh nevermind.

Or, we could just say I used a paperclip that happened to already have ridges in it - potayto, potahto

Silencing a sniper rifle seriously hampers it range, and, therefore, it's effectiveness.  Consider the markings as vents, to help compensate for muzzle lift, thereby improving accuracy.
