offical minis

what is EE standing on custom/converted minatures at offical EE events.

for example I'm thinking of doing a wolfpack army with bikes and hedgehogs but they'll be heavly converted , going for a madmax theme. Some of the bikes will come from a different comapny but the drivers will be all EE.  The hedgehog will be from a car model kit but with bits coming from EE's hedgehog.

will this be a issue at EE events.
Thought I ask before I start building.

thanks
steve

My experience has been that conversions are cool.  As long as there is Excelsior product in there, then feel free to do your thing.

My Bloodbone Axemen all have Rackham heads, as does my Mauler.  I've played against Thom, and also faced JP at the Southern Exposure tournament, so I'm going by what they've said to me.  You can proxy any model that isn't produced yet, and even some that are, to add flavor to your army.  Bill Refsland ran the last tourney and had a wild assortment to work with for his Sons of Kronos, including different packs of war dogs to differentiate between them.  So with that, go wild.

Post pics of your work please!
May the Dark Lords of Lead-Free Pewter smile kindly upon you.

Hope this comes out well...I've done a bit of work on some of my Mishima conversions.
