For Sheer Coolnes Points
« on: November 22, 2005, 06:15:10 AM »
What would you like to see in your favorite army?  Don't worry overmuch about balance or escalation.

For Example

Cybertronic:
Attack Monocycles (think Venus Wars)
Walking Tanks (think Ghost in the Shell)

Talk amongst yourselves...
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

hmmm... for Bauhaus, maybe some form of political officer from the Ministry of Fear, with Execute.

Capitolwise, I'd like to see some kind of gun toting dune buggy, or maybe a Covert Ops character with Unseen Assailant. (think Splinter Cell)

Ok for sheer kool points.
For the wolf pack "MadMax" army I'm building:
        1. field repair man: to get the bloody hedgehog back on the road and shooting.
         2. vehical heavy wolfpack army list. Ahhhhhh rows of kitbash hedgehogs and   fenris bikes. Riding into the enemy, guns blazing axe's swinging 8)
        3. Wolfpack guys (ok I now this going to sound silly) that look less wolf pack and more like that road gang form Mad Max (see a theme building here).
ohhh to get my hands on a homungous figure...."Give Me your Oil or I'm force to release...MY DOGS of WAR!"

Also see my post "One man's pipe dream" on units I like to see for cartel.

we really do need to anoy Serge more next time... :)

Another cool idea:

Actual Capitol Marines, like the guys who perform boarding actions in space. I remember them being mentioned in the old MC Capitol sourcebook, and they seemed like a cool idea.

It's almost as fun as actually playing a game. :)

We should encourage the new people coming to play Chronopia/Warzone to do the same.  I figure we could get his head to explode, no problem. *nod nod*

The buzzbike from the RPG for cybertronic (kind of like the pegasus), it has a rotor blade in front that you can use to give your enemy a haircut and then some.

My "wish list"

1) The Werewolf Walker - A Wolfpack modified Hurricane. I'm working on a conversion, but I'd love to see a real "pro" one. My intention is to remove the canopy and replace it with a clear one, have it slid open so you can see the Wolfbane pilot, put a wolf hide on it, Wolfpack banner (with skulls and such) and then paint the front with a wolf face reminiscent of the old "Flying Tigers".

2) My two man Necromower Mark IIs - two man crew and covered with gear and bits. Pintle mounted Heavy Charger. Think Rat Patrol (for those that remember the series) or the WWII SAS desert raiders.

3) My Dire Wolves - based on old fluff - Infiltrating Wolfbanes with decent RC skill and Plasma Carbines (small template weapon). FT specialist.  Flaming DEATH!!!

4) Ganymede Artic Wolf packs - Wolf handlers and huge feral artic wolves.

5) Highland Clan Warriors - I'd love to see them included and differentiated from the 'banes. They're a good bit different in the old fluff. I'd like to see a Bagpipe specialist for them as well.

mmmmm....this is fun....I'll think some more and revisit this...maybe for other factions as well (I play a lot more than just the banes....though they are definitely what first brought me to WZ). Fury of the Clansmen ROCKED

Capitol:
A Transporter for troops. I would like to bring the Assault Marines directly where the action is.
"Get out of the truck! Fast!"

Something like a S.W.A.T.. Troops with stalking and God Wraith Snipers with Form Fireteam.
Marines! Lets kick some A S S!

Enker:

I like the idea of a dedicated sniper team. :)  Throw 'em on top of a tower, or get 'em to the objective and have them lay hellacious fire upon the enemy.

hmm...what would I like?...

well, since I primarily play Imperial now, and since Imperial is based on the British, and since I am a big military history fan, I would like to see a cannon for Imperial...nothing fancy, maybe a 6 pounder that fires an AP round template for anti-infantry...

maybe even a Remote Detonator for my Golden Lion Demo Specialist (for those that have been reading another thread on the Game-Realted questions forum)...

or how about a Wolfpack sniper that counts as a Support choice (got to support the troops as the crazies charge forth)...

that's all for now...now I have to think about Mishima...
