I tried posting some pics of the battle but the site will not allow them.  They are too big.  I tried both resizing them and saving as a lesser quality but the pics are still too big.  Any ideas on how I can get them under the wire?

try converting them into GIF files...

No dice with the GIF file B.  My photo editor doesn't provide that option.  My ignorance guided me to try a TIF file (sounding similar I said "what the hey" but, that did not work either.  Oh well, I guess we do this the old fashion way.

The field is more or less a bombed out city.  It has three 4 -5 story styrofoam buildings in the middle, surrounded by two 3 story styrofoam buildings and several of the ArmorCast ruined buildings of various sizes.  There are actual road pieces running between these buildings with an off set intersection about in the middle of the table.  The edges of the board have various terrain pieces.  The notable ones are a park on either extreme end, a fenced in refinery and loading docks, and a ruined temple.  The Cyber side has a bunker and a watch tower where as the DL side has some higher level hills (around the park) in which to gain some vantage points.  There is barbed wire, rubble, crates & boxes, and wrecked vehicles strewn haphazzardly all over the table.

My force is a Demnogonis list backed by the Horde.  It is as follows:

Demnogonis
Shekral with Cloud of Flies and Plague of Flies                67

We agreed before the battle that we wanted to have mass units so we restricted the number of support units to 4.

I have my 2 units of Blight Commandos in the 2 Reavers.

I'm twisting my buddies arm to sign on and post his list as well. He said that he will but I don't know when that is going to happen.

We just finished round three last night.  When I'm less tired (and hopefully after the Cyber list is revealed) I'll start giving battle reports.  Until then, this at least gives you an idea of what to expect.

Sorry about the untidy lines.  I typed everything in all nice and neat.  I even tried to use the table option to correct this problem.  I don't know why the lists are not aligned.

...its the only way to be sure.

My opponent is practically doing that already.  With his 2 Scorpions and an Operations Overseer,  I've been dodging templates since the second round.  I know that he's planning to drop a fire mission or two as well since I have no where to disperse.  I must meander down Main street.  My only saving grace has been the smoke.  Smoke is good.  It's more or less a minus 3 to the damage of these dang templates.  My only problem is my Gommorians suck at judging the wind.  I've only successfully landed two smoke templates from 3 Gommorians in 3 rounds.

I'll try to post part of the action later tonight.  Right now I'm late for dinner!

OK, the first round was really pretty dull.  It consisted of a lot of revealing, placing models on the board, moving them up to allow for other models to be placed behind them, scratch your head as you try to figure out what units are on the other 25-30 deployment cards that you have without picking them all up, rinse and repeat.  The only two note worthy points of this round were the Mirror Men (springing forth from their forward infiltrated positions) completly frappe-ing my cairaths, and my immediate traffic jam as my zombie mob assembled on Main Street.

Round Two:
Still not much action.  Models jockeying for position, the mob surging forward, befuddled glances as we both try to recall which proxies are which, and a few pot shots here and there at extreme ranges.

Highpoints (or primarily low points if you're me) Scorpion and mortor shells thinning the herd, a Cancer Mounted MG closing down my flank, an EDD singeing one of my Colossi, and of course the Mirror Men wiping the Cairath goo off of their blades by using the robes of my Last Ritesmen, the occaisional Kadaver and Spawn and half of an unit of Cursed that were trying to run past and get into a sniping position.

Points in my favor: a line of Necromutants from a nearby roof top, dropping some of the Mirror Men, Curators combining to restore 2 fallen pieces (one of which a Necromutant squad leader for some Legionaires), and Shrekral and the Voice coming up from the rear to curb the ravaging tide known as the Mirror Men.

Things are begining to get interesting for round 3 but that will have to be another installment as my eyes are begining to droop.

I'll ride my friend some more to post his list.  Once that's done we can start speculating on the odds of victory for the pitiful remanants of mankind against the humanless, cold machinery.

Well, Stalker finally prodded me enough to get on the Forums and especially to post my army list. This threads title is very accurate. Thus far, that's what this battle has been....insane. However, "battle" isn't the right word. When I first thought of the 5k v. 5k battle I had one thought in mind.....put the "WAR" back in Warzone.

Yep.  All that extra armor is gonna be a bear to get through.  I guess I'll just have to  take full advantage of out activating Wolfpac and leave my best troops for last.

I was just by Wolfpac's house tonight for New Years, round 4 is scheduled for Monday.  I'll try to get details from round 3 up tomorrow as I'm a bit tipsy at the moment.
