Wolfhead Dragoons
« on: November 19, 2005, 08:18:34 AM »
Under Wolfhead Dragoons pg. 221 it states they have survival training:3 and under equipment that they have environment suit. Is this cumlative for a +6 or is the st:3 a result of the e-suit?

Result of the Suit.  Non-Cumulative.

I beg to differ, Joe.  I believe that it is cumulative, as there are no rules that state that it is not, plus, my Hussars have Suvival Training: 2 and may purchase Filter Masks and Hazmat Suits, effectively making their Survival Training a level 5.

I based the descion on the Cybertronic forces already having their "cyber-upgrades" factored into their stat lines.

Is the Survival Training SA based on special training, or on equipment?

If this is based on equipment, then shouldn't the description of the Hussars, since they have been used as an example, also have the Hazmat suit listed as supplied equipment?

Haupt Kaptain Konrad von Juntz has no Survival Training, but comes with an Environment Suit. Check.

Admiral Colby's Guard can end up with an effective Survivtal Training of 9, if I can combine their SA with gear. :)

I've done this...I didn't have to take an Environment check for an entire game, while most troops had to start testing on turn 3...

I think that I had the Guard at a Survival Training 6...

The more I look at their entry, the more I want to use them.
