Ode to Demonginis
« on: July 01, 2007, 03:49:22 PM »
So I cleaned out my minivan today.  Two years of sugary drinks, sand from trips to the beach,  and God knows what else accumulating on the carpet creates one sorry mess.  Some day we might have to sell this thing but I think it would be easier to replace or burn the carpet instead.  It was definitely a breeding pit for the Lord of Disease.

or just let the kids keep up with the sugary stuff and then the floor would be effectively shellacked...don't have to worry about cleaning the carpet anymore, since all you would have to do is get out the Windex and just clean the hardened sugar...

I'm just worried that the fire ants would move in and take over.

no, you NEED the ants!

spray a little water on the sugar (so soften it) and let the ants clean your car.

surely they will be very accurate. and they work hard for old sugar..
(only it will need some time.. but that depends on the amount of ants you can get).

Obviously you have never dealt with fire ants, otherwise the you would see the flaw in your plan.  Read on:

Fire ants are nasty!  (Seen the link with the blistered human leg)

Don't ever want to cross paths with them.

Nah, they would rather stay in the hot climes of the South.  If they make up north, then they wouldn't be called Fire Ants..  Ice ants? ;D

(Cue cheesy joke drum roll)

no...they'd still be fire ants...once I get the propane torch in my garage out, they'd become On-Fire Ants...

Actually, they burn nicely.  They make a very satsifying popping sound.
