MiniRealms - Independant Miniature Gaming Forums!
« on: November 01, 2005, 10:02:12 AM »
Hey all, for those of you who know about MiniRealms, get on over there, for those of you who have been living under a rock or haven't seen any signature banners here's the scoop.

MiniRealms is an independant, and varied gaming community, with members from across the world. There's forums for every type of miniature game from Fantasy to Scifi and Historical. The moderating team is friendly, and the members come from different parts of the gaming world (from developers to sculpters, to professional painters!).

You don't have to abandon your current haunts (last time I checked belonging to more than one forum was possible via any web browser or computer) MiniRealms can just be an extra to your gaming information intake!

Here's the link: MiniRealms. See you there!

I like their sculpting section.  I downloaded a nice tutorial from them.

MiniRealms is a very nice forum and well worth checking out. There are a number of really good painters frequenting MR and they are always willing to tell how they've painted their minis as well as offering constructive comments on the paint jobs of others.

PS. Behave on that forum so that Steel Rabbit wont have to moderate you. :)

as I remember, Minirealms became the de-facto Excelsior forum when the website was down. :)

Jibbajabba--you're a class act for pointing that out, and I applaud you.  It was indeed where the Chronopia/UWZ addicts could still get together in the maelstrom of chaos.  Cheers.

I was quite happy that they were so accepting of so many new faces and ideas. There was nary a flamewar to be had.

Not only that, but Minirealms also has a good Historical section, which is interesting to browse through, to see the "other side" of the hobby. (Historical vs. Fantasy/Sci Fi)
