Ministry of Justice Legates and Etoiles Mortants
« on: April 25, 2007, 02:07:56 PM »
I've always considered Bauhaus to be primarily a shooty army, and quite effective at that.  But do they have a place in any army list?   Both rock in close quarters but with their expensive points and limited use,  I can't seem to justify their use.   Any experiences with them?

Thanks!

Legates are good when comboed with an Executioner, or in a scenario that is close in, like a cavern or a ship...

i think the Etoiles Mortants are a little like the sunset strikers. FT spec. but they are (bec. sec. attack) a little better than SS in that..

no shooting, but if you charge with SS -> no shooting.

=> i think you can bild a good force around it.
perhaps with 2 SSkimmer to soak up the damage and let them move close very early. the grunts stay back and shoot.

no experiance, normaly i play more a reactive style...
