why donīt you find a "forums adviced" solution? there you could also include things like the carnal golem (?) and other stuff that makes sense but is not in the last official faq
(or that hmg carriing guy with no hmg? the one with the hammer..)
btw, i think a fluff driven +3 bonus suits him well! also unlogical that chars canīt use this equipment!
