Diana + Droid?

Can Medics cure Vehicles?
In particular, can Diana fix the Deathdroid?
Was it possible in 2nd edition?

Not sure on all medics but Diane can heal the EDD and yes she could in 2nd edition.

It is my understanding that Technomancers can only heal Bio-Constructs that are too large for Medic skill.

I've been asked by other players WHY does diana have this special treatment, as they didn't see anything in the rulebook to support it clearly, so here I am forwarding the question.

On page 346 In the fluff it clearly states she can heal both man and machine.
