On p60 it states that "prone models suffer +4 to their Def. Mod.", but on p69 under Ram Attack it states "when a model is prone it suffers -4 to its armour". So, I guess my question is which one is right, or are they both right?

The Def. Mod is the one penlized. It was cleared IIRC in the errata.

Correct, per the FAQ:
Ram Attack (page 89): Third paragraph, last sentence should read: "When a model is prone it suffers a penalty of+4 to its DEF and must use its next available action to stand up."

Once again , thanks for the answer. I should have checked the FAQ first. I really need to print those off.
