Use for Heritic Points
« on: October 05, 2005, 04:21:28 AM »
Hello all ,
We would like your opinon on the matter. What would you like to use your points for.
x number of points equals x $$ off purchase, redeem for limited edition items, art prints, shirts, hats, ect....

Thanks your opinions matter

Post a reply with what you think and we will take all suggestions.

I will then add a poll based on the top 5 responses in about a week to better gage where people stand.

Thanks again
Jon

How about both x$ off purchase and redeem for special stuff.  Gives you a choice how to spend your heretic points.

Jon--are these points anything to do with the EE proofs of purchase chumpies that come with the merchandise?

Either way I agree with Seamus and PFC_joe.  Store credit or fly Chronopia T shirt.  Cheers.

P.S.  Nice seein' ya at the con.

My vote goes for saving them as credit and use them on purchases if needed.

Just to clarify a bit. Useing them to redeem for stuff and for purchases are both where we will be heading.
What type of things would you like to put them towards? Exclusive minis? gimmicky things like bumper stickers, shirts, hats, tshirts, posters, signed sketches by thom.

Other ideas.

Thanks

Please don't do that exclusive mini nonsense.  I think the EE vibe should remain user friendly, where anyone can get the cool models.  The new stuff is really lookin' good, and I think it would be a sin if was limited in any way.  Other companies have done the exclusive mini thing already; I don't see EE runnin' with the herd, if ya know what I mean.  That being said, I still want the T shirt.

Full color maps of the Chronopia world would be good for posters or roleplayers alike.

Well exclusives in the sense of when release you can get them ahead of retail. Just ideas as of now. of course all of the opinions will be taken into consideration.

Thanks Josh  and every one else for your input so far.

Hot from the molds ahead of retail is fine, but you'll save headaches later by making them all available.

Oh heck, I glued Thom's face over the Razide and have been playing poker with them with my friends. I know it said keep them in good condition but... does this mean I can't redeem them?  ;D

That said, credit towards purchases is always good. The more money I can pinch the more miss TGB is likely to let me purchase stuff.

Miniatures, prints, novelty items, etc, would be great.

Oh, ya want to know what kinda redeemable stuff.

Well if we're gettin discount on lead already, then I would hope thaht high quality Apparely would be available.  Though I don't honestly expect to see many move, as the greater impetus would be on the cheaper Lead, it would still be nice to have a nicely embroidered pull over or Hockey jersey styled shirt (as opposed to that cheap silk screened Cafepress crap).  Nothing crazy on the design, very minimalistic, like a corporation Logo on the breast or just the UWZ logo across a sleeve or something.

Just a thought, but, can it not be something you have to go directly to EE for? I'm thinking of people w/out internet access, or unwilling/unable to buy things online. IE, could someone go to their local FLGS and get it through them? Doesnt really affect me, either way, i'm thinking of the folks out in the boonies, etc.

As to what it could be used for, a discount would be really nice, or trade in X qty for Y dollars in merchandise (still kind of a discount that way).

I agree, don't do exclusive minis. Everything should be available to everyone. T-shirts are good, faction patches perhaps or art.
