Mutant Chronicles Comics - Golgotha: discovered
« on: December 27, 2006, 07:49:58 AM »
I was a first edition player, long time out of the game and just returned....

in this blessed times, (a youthcenter full of players, games every week or more on huge tables, I in the 1/2 of my university....)
I knew the german/nrw(state) distributer (http://www.mutant-chronicles.de, he still has this adress.. ).

From there I got this  :D

I visited my parents and there it was, in a box with other goodies, packed one day because room reconstruction.

 ;D

I put this here, because: there is no mutant chronicles forum on this board!?!

well, i had it... bought it about 1/2 a year ago on ebay, with the trading card..

but, I was so disapointed that I put it somewhere (trash???) and the card somewhere in the car or else.. -> may be around, but probably lost.

anyway: it was not part of the series, just  a ""source""book

-> character fluff on bad recicled art -> crap, an insult to the comic lover (but as a collector interesting, of course ;))

--> if I find it you have it for a buck (+shipping)

Hmmm....

I have the combined Graphic novel (all of them in one book).

So-so read... but you get Jake, Mitch, Valerie and Wolfe working with Crenshaw to get Golgotha....

You know, I wonder if that could be made into a game- Golgotha and maybe 500 points of legionaires/necromutants with a razide or two versus those five...  Wolfe is armed with a Deathlock Drum for those tough targets.

  Might be a fun game.

So is anyone going to make these into a PDF or CBZ file to share with community?  Im sure many people would be appreciative for whichever chap decided to put in the couple hours of doing the copies.

Archer if you do a senerio with the 5 hero's vs Golgatha and minions you'll need to use 1st edition rules. Deathlockdrum with intagrated GL, AP Grenades, Etc. Maybe i'll work up a game for ArcherCon. I'll get back to ya. Phil

I think it could be done for UWZ by using a bit of points extrapolation for Max (or subsituting a different unit with that load-out).  I don't think it would be a balanced game anyway, nor really is it meant to be.  Kind of like how Seige of the Citadel would be played, with the DL forces coming at them somewhat piecemeal.
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!
