I just wanted to say thanks for being there at Southern Exposure. It was a very small con, with only six of us in the Chronopia tournament. Bill Refsland (dane on the forum) did a bang up job, making it a really fun event with interesting boards and objectives. It was competitive, in that we all played to win, but two novices were there who got to play and learn the game in what could only be described as a friendly environment. When Bill (Stygian Warrior) was playing one of these newbies, he instructed him on the use of Group Attack for a unit of War Dogs arrayed AGAINST him. That's cool. It was maybe more like a demo for some, but the grudge match I had against J.P. from the EE crew was ON. It was a great day and I look forward to the next con.
