Battle Wagon Bits   -    www.bwbits.com

With gaps in our forces Battle Wagon Bits is becoming one of my best friends.

For example - I'm using the old Pauldron Hussar Sgts with a head swap to the Company Champion Head for Legates.

I'm not above making units/items to enhance my scenarios but only to further the storyline; power-gaming for the sake of power-gaming is no fun. That's why I left the GW train. Anything I do as a Midwest Crusader goes by the same rules I followed as a Crusader. That is what I'm still on a mission from Thom is really all about. I still number myslef among the True Believers. I've sworn 3 oaths in my life. One to my ex-wife, one to my country and one to Thom. In spite of divorce, my current civilian status and Excelsior's demise - I stay true to all three.

  Amen.

I'm not above converting other game's minis to Warzone rules- trying for balance as much as possible.  Masher, Jibba and I think Phil tryed my "Last Stand of the 9th Marines" scenario using Genestealers and GW Marines.  With a bit of tweeking of the stealers and a slight alteration of the composition of the troops, fairly balanced statlines.

I still try to convert folks as I go...  I've found a few former players who are entertaining picking up the game again... and got a few new players in the system or on the cusp of trying (Leslie being the former and her friend Cory being the latter).  At some point, I want to invade the Adventurers Guild in Harrisburg one Saturday with both and play- suck some of the GW crowd into the game...

I found a game in hostile territory generally draws converts. :)

Your ex is a hottie tis true
but after careful review
She is not a good reason
for commiting treason
or screwing good people up the wazoo

Luckily none of my vows
prevents me from looking at cows
so send the photos along
and I'll stop singing this song
to stare at the pix; if the rest of the forum allows  ;D

the tabletop game of Warzone
