Yep... they were... which is why they were left out of 2nd and Third Ed's.

Ah - you speak of the California Barking Spiders, known for their malodorous emissions.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Trust joe to remember the real reason they were left out. :)

That and the concept art wound up being used to make the rangers (the non-airborne kind).

LoL what can I say?  I loved their text and design (the Rangers image was a great take on the turn of the century Cavalry officer) just the whole infiltrating with toxic gas launchers was a bit funny.

Though Silent but Deadly was never more true.

I might have to get some LI GL specialists and Green Stuff some coats on 'em.

(Or find someone vastly more talented then me to do it. :))

LI might be easier to use only because the Rangers would require a lot of cutting with a Dremel that might look a little dodgy...

the rangers would be a lot more appropriate given the background fluff that you have described for them, but exactness might have to give way to ease of use...

Isn't there a Ranger Sgt or something that has his arms out from the body - just cut at the shoulder and pin the new ones in.
