i need 3 of the little horns for the phoenix samurai/combat warheads. also one or two pairs of hatamoto katana. anyone got some extras lying around? 

also, aro consulting has a wz9669  weapon pack #1 for sale. do you guys know if that would contain the swords i need? or other swords?

I think weapons pack #1 was mostly heavy weapons (cannons and the like).  You may need to do some scratchbuilding.

You could always cut a shape using thick cardboard, if you're going for a crest type design and just stick it on the front of the helmet. Similar style to the samurai helmets of old.

Thin plasticard works well too.  Stands up over time better as well.

You could cut the slot off the bottom of a fig and shape it with files. Longest and hardest method but it is also the most durable. Alternately get some scrap figs (GW Orcs come to mind) and cut the horns off their helms and use them. Other designs can be found in Shogun, and The Last Samurai. Samurai helms were individual and reflected some of the personality of the wearer.
