If he uses his Backstab ability he gets the claw, elbow spike at regular CC, and then an elbow spike at secondary attack -4.  I think I'm playing him correctly.

In CC he gets the claw and then secondary attack elbow spike.  The claw damage is STR +1  x2  so 6 x 2.  It's not in the book; I had to ask around on these forums.

If I'm wrong about this guy, let me know!!!!

IN the book the scout is listed as being armed with 2 claw spikes and 2 elbow spikes, so I thought that maybe he gets his 2 claw attacks (the second at -4) and only gets elbows elbows with backstab.  It almost seems like he gets all (2 claws and 2 spikes) but only on ambush does he get the "free"(no -4) on the first elbow spike.  This almost seems too much.  But hey, I can live with it.   I'm using him for the first time tonight and don't want to "cheat".  boy, I wish their was a third edition to resolve some of this.

Here is how I have always played him.

The scout has 2 Claw Spikes and 2 Elbow Spikes.

The Elbow Spikes are free when using Back Stab.

If we assume that the Scout is not attacking from behind. He gets 2 attacks with the Claw Spikes, one at normal, one with the standard -4 for Secondary.

If, however, he is attacking from behind, his damage potential increases considerably. He gets basically 4 attacks, which work like this:

Attack #1: Claw spike (no modifiers), Elbow Spike (Free, no modifiers)

Attack #2: Claw Spike (-4 Secondary), Elbow Spike (Free, no modifiers)

I haven't nicknamed my Scout "The Cuisinart" for nothing. :D

Southpaw -

I keep telling you that you are playing it wrong. The best way to deploy this fig is to place hin in the middle of a group of Blackblood Assault Warriors who have initiative.  ;D

So, the 4-State Militia(DogOWar, Canonball, Troy-the-just) were battling it out in Chronograd.  I was fielding my "Pinball Wizard" Devout army( I had a Stalker & a Warp Lord with Vortex spell), and was throwing Vortex spells as fast as I could cast them( at one point I though the guys were going to make "dodo" in their pants, quite funny), and I was wondering how you would handle it if 2 of the Vortexs ran into each other?  Do you treat it as if they( Vortex) ran into an obstacle, or do they "pass thru" each other?

Now that's one we have to think of.  The vortex is only stopped my solid terrain, so I would say they pass through each other.  Neither one is solid terrain.

Optionally, you could play where they cause a rift in the space time continuum and everything on your gaming table disappears into a pocket dimension.   ;D  Pretty dorky that one.

I think that if you manage to get 2 votexs to collide your opponents are immediately sucked into the Dusk Realm and find themselves surrounded by demons and playing in the background are a selection Of Olivia Newton John's greatested hits from Grease( "Your the one that I want", and "Hopelessly DEVOUTed to you"), playing until the end of time!!!
