Title: Quiet like a tomb.
Post by: Fallen on July 07, 2006, 06:50:10 PM
Where has everyone gone too?  No new posts is it just summer time  or has everyone just given up.

Uhm.......what about the Origins, Origins Wrap-up and the DexCOn threads? Not only do those count as posts but they prove that at least some of us haven't given up. You missed out on some great games at Origins and from the sound of DexCon it should be a blast. In addition there is a thread to plan for a Huge get together this fall. Granted it seems that it is always the same guys putting on events but the only way to change that is to stop waiting for someone else to post and arrange some events.

Maybe the people still posting here need to come up with a COn Directory so we can plan on arranging events at the ones we attend rather than posting our events at a Con and hoping forum members will come.

Actually it has been a little quiet.  Not so much about the dexcon (don't get me wrong, that's good and all) but there just has not been a lot of converstion.  It spiked nicely there for a while but has seemed to die down.

I still check in here occasionally.  A friend of mine in Australia is writing rules for Sons of Kronos in Wargods of Aegyptus (he'll be using their background, modified, in a sort of ancient Gaul).

Not a lot to say that I haven't already said.

There are enough minis out there that the game (Chronopia) is playable, and the rules work well as-is.  New content would be great, but it's not necessary for me to play and enjoy the game.

It`s summertime. A lot of people are on Holiday and not all of them spend it at home.

It`s a bit hot here to paint the figs. It dries too fast.

                        Greetings,

It's good for painting large masses of troups assembly line style though.

I've been gone since the Maplewood Warzone campign kind of fell through when one of the players got too busy, and other games came along.  But me, Masherking, and Iron Panda played again recently, with Mchaio and had a BLAST!

Expect us all back in force soon!

(That and I just got a Swamp Goblin army together...)

Since Mchiao's visit,  I've been itching to play Chronopia and Warzone.  It was certainly quite a fun game.  And it reminded me how good these games are.   Currently,  I'm stripping the paint off all my Swamp Goblins and Blackbloods for the next Maplewood extravaganza!!

Oh yes, Warzone and Chronopia will return to Maplewood...
Along with some COBRA domination of the Dark Legions!

Hey here it´s not totally dead, also!

Big armys are mustered, big bug spend on useless military equipment  and great dreams of domination are dreamed!
