Title: How does drop pod work?

Drop pod para-deploys.  I dont suppose it lands right in the middle of the LZ?  If it lands right next to a enemy model, does that mean the pod is captured including its passengers?  When does it open the pod to let the passaengers out?  Do you choose the facing of the opening?  When can you activate the passenger squad?

While the model does deviate it does not get captured.

It opens when it is activated the turn after it deploys in.

You may choose the facing.

The squad is activated whenever you want on the turn after it paradrops in.

No the pod does not get captured but that would be pretty funny.  At Gencon it was actually played that if the pod lands on a model then that model gets squished.   :P  I wasn't playing in the game only spectating so, I don't know if it was automatic or if it there was some sort of roll involved.  However, I do know that the moderator was official from EE (ratboy).
