Well heck… where to begin?

Since Pop’s passing in 2011, its been one minor disasater/event after another, between deaths in family and emergencies among friends (Dave McGee- Leslie and I say thank you AGAIN for the ferret rescue!!!) plus trying to simply survive.  And its been a rough ride on the survival part but I’ve managed. :)

Job-wise, I’ve changed positions from being an armored car driver for the last two years to a Fire-fighter Trainee for the City of Reading Fire Department.  Being dad was a FF for 17 years and an EMT for most of that time too plus my growing up around firehouses, it’s a makes-sense move for me.  As I am also no longer in Uncle Sam’s Navy, there are no other demands on my time other than the Academy right now.

Hobby-wise, I’ve been involved in bringing Heavy Gear to the masses here in Berks County as well as up in Lackawana County as a member of the DP9 Pod Corp.  Fun game and very easy to learn…  Still play some of the GW games with friends out here and have taught some UWZ to a few too.  Still have most of my armies for UWZ (including the conversion lists!!) and Chronopia & would love to get a game in of either; its been far too long.

I’ll be missing Talamania AGAIN this year- its on the same weekend as an event between my local game club and another’s.  As long as the Game nights are still happening, I can do my damnedest to make those.

Hopefully I will see some of you guys in the near future.

Hey Archer!   Glad to see you back.   It sounds like things are beginning to stabilize, and you are headed for something you enjoy doing. 

Maybe, someday, I will make a Talamania, and I'll treat to some Death Fries.
