Title: Talamania VI - "It's a Trap!"
Post by: dmcgee1 on November 21, 2011, 04:43:16 AM: As we get close to closing out 2011, I feel the urge to get the ball rolling on T6; therefore, as of now, the dates for Talamania VI are Friday, May 18 through Sunday, May 20, 2012. Please, mark your calendars and start planning for the weekend!

Thanks. Mare and I look forward to seeing all of you soon!

The good thing about that date is that it is a public holiday in Sweden with Thursday and Friday off. The drawbacks are that it clashes with another con that I traditionally go to. Being a long weekend I am guessing a lot of people will be going to NY so tickets may be slightly more expensive (which of course could be solved by booking earlier than I usually do).

If getting here earlier would help you, then Casa McGee can easily accomodate. Heck, if it was possible, I would have the property designated as Temporary Swedish Sovereign Territory for the weekend! Just promise that you won't use it as a jump off for an invasion, okay?

Okay, this may require a congressman (or three) but if we could get them to move Memorial Day...

Seriously, though, if this date affects too many of the regulars, I will consider moving it.

Sardonicus reached for his phone and smiled as he was connected to his faithful driver and bodyguard Mr. Treunfrio

"Mr. Treunfrio please look into the logistics of a trip to the eastern warzones...Talamania prefect. Yes Mr. Treunfrio that is correct - the gathering in mid-May. Please let me know the feasability of such an endeavour."

Sardonicus replaced the receiver into the cradle and pulled out a list. Who would be the object of his special attention? Time would tell but by then the trap would be inescapable. Sardonicus laughed...time to recruit another unwitting servant to the Circle of Deceit.

First three are 500pt armies, I have a fun, a tactical and a cheddar force prepared. The Mishima 500 is very cool...

Sardonicus shooed her from the office for the tenth time and she passed Mr Treunfrio as he entered. "Ms. Snow" Sardonicus said, "See that we are not disturbed". As Mr. Truenfrio settled into a chair, Sardonicus pulled out one of his special files, one that dissolved when wet. Just then, Ms Snow entered again, this time carrying a tray of tea and cookies. Sardonicus spoke sharply "Get out!"

Ms Snow dropped the tray, spilling the tea onto the file. Sardonicus was furious but when he spoke his voice was low and pleasant. "I am sorry I startled you Ms Snow. Please don't cry." Sardonicus put his arm around Ms Snow as he comforted her. The young girl didn't notice they were headed to the balcony. As he spoke to the girl Sardonicus rubbed his hand up and down her back. Suddenly he grabbed the waistline of her skirt and with a quick heave threw her over the railing.

Sardonicus crossed to his desk and picked up his phone. When he was connected to security he spoke "There has been a tragic incident. I fired a girl for poor job performance and she jumped from my balcony. Please call the police...and contact the steno pool...I will need a new secretary."

Having dispensed with his annoyance, Sardonicus moved to the conference table retrieving a duplicate of the ruined file as he did. Opening it he handed Mr. Treunfrio a list. "These six are the ones who have disrupted my plans. Cancel our trip to the Eastern Warzones and advise our agents in the Talamania Prefect to cease operations. As for these six, you are to take them to one of our secluded safe houses and express my displeasure most strenously. You may tell them that their pain will cease if they beg you to kill them. When they do, you may kill them....but take 1,000 hours to do so. Then have one of our subsidiaries render the bodies and have the meat delivered to the asylum. They wished to feast at Muwahije's table so they may now be the feast for Muwahije's table."

As Mr. Treunfrio stood to leave, Sardonicus smiled and said "Watch out for icy roads, after all we have had a Snow fall".
